Every accepted project begins here.

Design Clarity is the first stage of working with Mirare Studio.

It gives you a considered understanding of your home, your priorities, and the design decisions that will create the greatest impact before time, budget, and decisions become harder to change.

This stage is designed for homeowners who want expert spatial direction before committing to further design work, architectural input, specification, procurement, or implementation.

What Design Clarity gives you

A confident direction for your home

A clear understanding of proportion, flow, and layout

Protection from costly misdirection

A structured plan for next steps

Architectural-level thinking applied to your interiors

Empty, white-walled interior with wooden flooring and doorways leading to other rooms

The most expensive design mistakes often happen before anything is ordered or built.

Layout, flow, proportion, light, storage, material direction, and scope decisions all shape the success of a project long before the visible work begins.

Design Clarity creates a strategic foundation before those decisions become costly to change.

Clarity before commitment

Who is Design Clarity for?

Design Clarity is suited to clients who are planning a renovation, reconfiguration, extension, or significant interior project and need clear direction before progressing.

It is particularly valuable if:

  • You know your home has potential, but you are not yet clear which changes will make the greatest difference.

  • You are considering architectural or interior changes and want expert direction before committing to a larger scope.

  • You want to avoid fragmented decisions, reactive spending, or a scheme that lacks coherence.

  • You need a strategic view before investing in drawings, specifications, procurement, or build work.

  • You may want further design support, but first need to understand what level of scope, investment, and involvement is actually appropriate.

What Design Clarity gives you.

By the end of Design Clarity, you will have a clear understanding of:

What your home needs in order to work better, feel more coherent, and support the way you live.

Which spatial decisions will create the greatest impact.

Where your budget and attention are likely to be best invested.

What should be simplified, reconsidered, or developed further.

Whether a larger design stage is appropriate.

What the most appropriate next step should be.

Investment

Design Clarity is a fixed-scope strategic stage, typically delivered over 4-6 weeks. The final scope is confirmed before booking, based on the scale, complexity, and level of review required.

For clients making significant decisions about their home, early clarity can protect budget, reduce uncertainty, and improve the quality of the final outcome.

In the context of a renovation, extension, or whole-home interior project, this stage is designed to resolve the thinking before larger commitments are made.

From £5,000.

Moving forward

At the end of Design Clarity, you will receive a recommendation for the most appropriate next step.

For some clients, this means progressing into further design support with Mirare Studio. For others, it may mean pausing, refining the brief, speaking with an architect or contractor, or approaching the project in a different sequence.

The purpose of this stage is not to rush you into a larger commitment. It is to give you the strategic direction to make the next decision with confidence.

If further support is appropriate, this may include concept design, detailed design, specification, procurement, implementation support, or ongoing advisory input as decisions progress, depending on the scale and nature of the project.

Begin with Design Clarity

Projects are accepted based on alignment, scope, and timing. Mirare Studio takes on a limited number of projects each quarter to maintain focus and depth of thinking.

If your project is a good fit, the next step is an invitation to a short introductory call before scope and booking are confirmed.
